We'll be impressed if you manage to tear up your ball as they're super durable but if you somehow do then simply compost them, throw them in your plant waste or plant them with some of your tatties!

Yes our ball is more expensive than one you can buy on amazon or the disposable plastic mesh balls sold at walls. This is because it’s hand made from high quality hemp with a bamboo toggle, is endlessly refillable and will last you much longer.

This is personal preference generally, some people like the amount of chalk a ball releases, some people like to have a ball with loose chalk as well. If you tend to not need to chalk up much then just a ball is probably right for you.

This depends on how often you climb and how often you chalk up when you climb, but if you climb once a week and chalk up an average amount it’ll most likely last you 3-4 months

Each ball has an average of 60g in it and it costs only £1.90 to refill, compared to the usual £3.50-4 for a new disposable plastic mesh chalk ball.

It works equally well for both, but some people prefer the smaller amount of mess it makes lead climbing versus dipping your hand in loose chalk.

Of course, if you use a chalk bucket then we recommend you have two or three balls and loose chalk, the balls hold on to the excess loose chalk and allow you to still have that full bucket chalking experience!
